About Proposition 65 Label
Propositon 65, better known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, was established in 1986 and requires warning labels to be placed on products sold in California that have been identified as causing cancer and reproductive toxicity. Initially created to keep California drinking water safe, the law today affects many different industries and encompasses more than 850 different chemicals found in everyday household items such as cosmetics, clothes, cars, jewelry, or furniture.
All of our products contain a warning label indicating the possibility of having one of hundreds of items listed in Prop 65 with the following message: “WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including wood dust, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
